We have been scouring the country for that special one and little did we know we would find him just 5 miles down the road from the boar stud. Dave and Family are good friends of ours and had been telling me for weeks to get down there and see him and I drug my feet. When I finally did and he stuck his head out of that cold, old milk house shed that day, I knew he was getting a new address. In his working clothes he was the most “out there” looking Berkshire I’ve ever seen. Legs are huge, back is enormous, hair dripping, chest and knee is perfect. It’s all there and for as good as his daddy is and all that he’s won, “Onward” might be better. Just a special animal. The Claytor crew is no stranger to elite Berkshires having made the Supreme at OYE, Champion Berkshires at Tulsa and OYE, and Numerous wins at Texas majors, this pig wasn’t an accident. His mother made the Res. Berk gilt at COBA last year. A Littermate brother to “Onward” has been champion 3 times so far for Carson Reed.
