Trick4d Out x Backdrop Bred by: Goss Livestock Flip Cup has been on our radar since I saw him late one night in a cold shed behind the dog pens at Goss Inc. He was so intriguing but wasn’t for sale at the moment. The Goss crew kept that semen close to Leedey all spring and bred over 20 sows to him for summer pigs, we think that’s a great testament to their faith in him and what’s to come. After some dialog we finally bugged Kent enough to get him secured and we couldn’t be more thankful to our friends at GL. Genetically it only gets better, his mother is “Boots” the backdrop sow that made the Grand at OYE for Bunt, is a littermate to Roll Call, and is the mother of Money Moves who sired the Grand at Houston this year. Selling Moves wasn’t an easy decision but getting Flip Cup locked up certainly eased that. Flip offers the same build and balance that we have come to love from that sow line but he is the STOUTEST and shortest bodied son she’s made yet. We have big plans for this boar here and I know those that have seen him have been instant on the books. He’s the next step and one that’s truly going to make better animals going forward. In our opinion, elite boars seem to always have elite moms and we can’t think of a better option for those of you that are of the same mindset. He’s pictured in his working clothes while still at GL but we love it, it’s raw, real, it’s him. Simply one we don’t have to make excuses for, use with confidence, it’s going to get fun!
