Wide Awake x Tricked Out x Rumor Has It Bred by: G&S Ohio, owned with Lackey, Sloan, & Schweke We make a big tour every summer/fall looking for some of the most elite boar prospects in the nation. Our first stop this time was to Team Sloan in July for the Top Shelf. Once we got to go through the pigs, we were consistently impressed with pigs sired by Plan B. They were the epitome of what a show barrow needed to be in 2026 with build we all love. After seeing him there in Cameron, I started digging into getting him bought and Troy texted me toward the end of the season and we got the deal done. Plan B is a mate to Power Hour, the $155,000 male from PT that had done an incredible job as well this fall siring baby pigs that have not only sold high but won in the early going, this only gives us more faith in Plan B. Plan B is an impressive animal physically but digging into how good this mating has worked at G&S gives us tremendous confidence on what he is going to do as a sire. He is short bodied, big pinned, and bold in his undercarriage but with all that muscle he stays so good on the move and has an awesome set to his head. Like we said, we loved the pigs out of this boar and I can’t wait for visitors to see him in person. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME THE PUBLIC HAS HAD A CHANCE TO USE THIS BOAR. BREEDING TIP: Talking to Troy and the small group of folks that got to use Plan B, He sires like he looks. He will make them short bodied, dense, with shape. Take to sows that need more punch and you should be very happy with the results.
