Wild Time x Roll Call Bred by Savage, Purchased from Hammock. Early on this summer we got word of a 50 lb pig that was winning at a high level, still intact, and sired by Wild Time. After a few good friends judged that pig and said he was one we needed to check in to, we grabbed a trailer and checkbook and went to see for ourselves. Wild Turkey is everything his name describes, WILD looking, but still all the extra one could ever need. I think this boar has a chance to be one of the really good ones we have gotten a chance to own. Not often does one come to you with this much spread, and real muscle, but still have that kind of look up front. We think a versatile one that is going to just make pigs better. We appreciate the Hammock Crew for letting us own this one and we are excited for his future here! BREEDING TIP: Obviously predicting how a young boar will sire can sometimes be tough but to just look at Wild Turkey, I think you take him to fleshy sows that need more look, hard shape, muscle, and just general presence.
